This Song was a simple birthday song. A friend would sing it for his kids. it was not a gospel song, it only had one verse, good news, a child is born today, a very special child, born on this day, gray skies or blue, no matter what the day, good news, a child is born today, happy birthday.

The Lord woke me up one night and started giving me the arrangement, and then He told me to read Isaiah 9:6. This is what I got from reading that verse. There is always hope for mankind. Why? Because of the birth of Jesus Chris. 

This Song shows the Supernatural power and call of God on a person's life, It's a real-life story of how God called me to preach in 1983 while stationed with the Military in Mannheim Germany. Here's the story; After I accepted Jesus, God began to wake me up at 3 am and I would go into the bathroom and neal down by the tube and pray, one night I woke up, went to pray, and then I heard God say, don't pray just listen, so I began to listen, then God said, you are called, then I laughed and said not me, I don't even know the bible. Then I went back to bed. The next night the same thing happened, this time while I was listening I heard God say you are called and then I got scared, I went back into the room, sat on the bed opened my bible at 1 Cor  9:16-17  which says you are called to preach my word. That same week I dreamed of a door with a star on it, with Hebrew writing around it. I did not understand it. The next night we had a guest preacher at church who was gifted with word of knowledge, 

he was preaching then on a blackboard he drew a star and wrote the Hebrew words around it, then he interpreted it, as a messenger from God. That was in 1983 I wrote the song in 2014 Listen
